Shopping at St. Vincent de Paul supports your neighbors in need. Revenue from our stores provides assistance to local people through a variety of programs including food and utility assistance, clothing and furniture assistance, and Michael’s Place – our voluntary, residential program for ex-offenders transitioning from prison or jail to independent living.
Not only does shopping at St. Vincent de Paul support local families in need, you never know what you’ll discover. Items are priced at a discounted rate, providing quality finds for less. And you can save even more by taking advantage of our daily sales!
And that’s not all – there are other sales throughout the year, such as our Quarterly Sale (when all items in the store are 50% off), Customer Appreciation Sales, and Manager Specials. The best way to get the most out of your St. Vincent de Paul thrift store experience is to visit often – you never know what you’ll find.
Our Loyalty Program is changing for the better! Starting October 23rd, you will no longer need your plastic loyalty card to receive perks at your local St. Vincent de Paul. But don’t worry, the Loyalty Dollars you’ve accumulated on your card will never expire! Feel free to use your Loyalty Dollars whenever you want, and when you’ve used all your dollars return the card to the cashier for $1 off your purchase immediately. We will collect the old cards & recycle them.
And the perks are better than before! Several days per week, we’ll have Loyalty Days. On Loyalty Days, you’ll receive a coupon at checkout good for any future purchase. Coupons will range from $1 off to 20% off an item valued at $100 or less, to 10% off your entire purchase, or even occasionally 50% off an item valued at $100 or less. You never know what you’ll get!
But wait, there’s more! Sign up for our VIP email blasts at the register & receive $1 off your purchase immediately. VIP email blasts will keep you updated about any upcoming sales, discounts, and events at our stores.
Our stores rely on your generous donations of clothing, furniture, and household items. Last year, we assisted over 150,000 of our neighbors in need throughout Pittsburgh. Your support of our stores allows us to provide tangible assistance through a variety of vital programs.
Feel free to drop off donations of clothing, furniture, or household items at any of our six stores during business hours. For store locations, please click here.
To schedule a pickup of a large furniture donation, please call 412-321-1071 x-1.
Thank you for your continued support — we can’t do this work without you!
