Description
“Bamboo” is an original color woodcut stamped/sealed by prominent Japanese woodcut artist Eiichi Kotozuka, circa 1930-1950s.
One of the artist’s more well known woodcuts, which fits well with what he was known for: moving pieces of nature. A well-preserved piece of beauty in history, the piece is in great condition and retains its original print Uchida publisher seal, stamp, and watermark, as well as the artist’s koto (signature) seal.
The gallery seller’s work number and the piece’s original 1950s price is still present on the vintage sealing paper.
Dimensions: 15 3/4″ x 10 1/2″, with margins making it out to be 17 3/4″ x 11 1/2″.
